Darrow Jones, businessman and fine jewelry pioneer opened his fine jewelry store in May 1986. The store is now Little Rock's Oldest Family Owned Jeweler and continues to pride itself with exceptional customer service. As a teenager, his son Jacob, began working in his fathers store after school and on weekends. This eventually led to Jacob attending the Gemological Institute of America and becoming the youngest Arkansan in history to graduate from GIA, thus achieving the esteemed Graduate Gemologist degree at age 19.
